NIC MAP Data Attribution Requirements

  1. Required Attribution for NIC MAP Data.

You must include the following text, shown in quotes below, on or in any form of use as applicable (including, without limitation, documents) of the Licensed Materials in the following instances:

  1. Use of Licensed Materials in Charts and Graphs: “Source: NIC MAP.”
  2. Use of Licensed Materials in Text: “According to the NIC MAP, [Quarter and/or Year (if applicable)].”
  3. Use of Licensed Materials in any Document: “For more information on NIC MAP, please visit https://www.nicmap.com/.” (in addition to instances in the foregoing A. and/or B.).

You also must (a) comply with all copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, contract and other laws necessary to protect all rights in the Licensed Materials and NIC MAP®; (b) not challenge NIC MAP’s ownership of (or the validity or enforceability of their rights in and to) the Licensed Materials and NIC MAP®; and (c) not remove, conceal, obliterate or circumvent any copyright or other notice or license, use or copying technological measure or rights management information including NIC MAP’s Data, Services, Licensed Materials and NIC MAP®. The Licensee (and potentially you as the User) shall be liable for your violation of any of the provisions of these Terms of Use and, as applicable, the License Agreement.

  1. Third Party Data Terms and Conditions.

THE LICENSED MATERIALS MAY INCLUDE DATA SUPPLIED TO NIC MAP FROM ONE OR MORE THIRD PARTY DATA SOURCES, SOME OF WHOM HAVE ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT YOU MUST COMPLY WITH; THESE CAN BE FOUND HERE [AND ARE HEREBY INCORPORATED INTO, AND MADE PART OF, THESE TERMS OF USE. IN PARTICULAR, TO THE EXTENT SET FORTH IN THE ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THE COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK RIGHTS OF SUCH THIRD PARTIES AND AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THE ATTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS.       • PointRight Pro 30®
  1. Licensee must use the PointRight®mark(s) in the required format at least once when used in descriptive text in the trademarked materials; Licensee may display the mark(s) in the same font style and same size as the surrounding text at least once.
  2. Licensee must display the PointRight®mark(s) prominently on the first page of each trademarked material.
    • Ideally, display the PointRight®mark(s) in the top center of the page or at the top of page offset to the right.
    • The mark(s) must have a minimum width of ½ inch or 45 pixels.
  3. Licensee must use the PointRight®mark(s) consistently.
  4. Licensee does nothave a right to use any other PointRight® trademark, including “POINTRIGHT” standing alone, without express permission from PointRight.
  5. All written, graphic, digital, or otherwise fixed references to PointRight®metrics or to their associated methodologies and documentation must include the following copyright notice:

  6. Licensee acknowledges and agrees that incorrect or inappropriate use of PointRight®trademarks, logos, or copyright notices may result in the revocation of this License, as well as a stoppage of supply of data and/or legal action by PointRight® with respect to Licensee.
